Privacy policy

Overview

Haru does not require or provide user accounts. The app does not collect personal information, analytics, advertising identifiers, or learner activity, and it does not transmit or share user data with Arydian Labs or other parties. Haru contains no in-app advertising or tracking code.

Information stored on your device

Haru stores learning progress and related app preferences locally so lessons and practice can continue between sessions. This can include lesson progress, practice outcomes, reading-pack choices, and settings. This information is not synced to an account or sent to Arydian Labs.

You can clear this information with Haru's reset control, by clearing the app's data, or by uninstalling the app, subject to your device operating system's backup behavior.

Audio

Haru uses fixed Korean curriculum audio and, where needed, your device's platform text-to-speech capability. Haru does not record you, request microphone access, or generate audio from personal information. A device or platform provider may process fixed text-to-speech requests under its own terms and privacy policy; Arydian Labs does not receive personal data from that processing.

Information Haru does not collect

Haru does not collect or share user data, use advertising identifiers, access your contacts, request your exact location, or record microphone audio. It does not display ads or sell personal information.

App stores and operating systems

The app store used to obtain Haru and your device's operating-system provider may independently collect information such as purchase, download, diagnostic, or device data. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies and is not data collection by Haru's application code.

Your choices

You can use Haru without an account. You can remove locally stored progress using Haru's reset control or controls provided by your device. Because Haru does not collect user data, Arydian Labs does not maintain an account or remote learner record to delete.

Children’s privacy

Haru is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Arydian Labs does not knowingly design Haru to collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Haru's data practices or features change. The effective date above will identify the current version. Any future addition of accounts, analytics, network services, advertising, or other data collection will require this policy and relevant app-store disclosures to be reviewed before release.
