Overview
Cueki is a local-first notebook prototype for musical sessions and deliberate practice. Its native foundation is designed to create the session record locally before opening the microphone and to keep the local master independent of transcription, intelligence, or sync services.
Session and document data
Cueki may store recordings, imported scores or documents, markers, notes, draft transcripts, summaries, practice tasks, source links, manifests, checksums, recovery journals, preferences, and export records on the user's device.
Privacy modes and optional processing
Local-only sessions are designed to forbid network transfer of media and transcripts. Pairing, metadata sync, media transfer, cloud transcription, intelligence, and notifications are separate purposes that must be permitted by the selected privacy mode before a network request is sent.
Device permissions
Recording requires microphone access and may use document, storage, or notification permissions for features the user chooses. Platform permission dialogs and settings control that access. Cueki should not silently broaden a granted permission into an unrelated purpose.
Exports, backups, and deletion
Exported recordings, annotated documents, transcripts, and session bundles remain wherever the user saves or shares them. Removing the working session may not remove separate exports or operating-system backups. Final controls must make these boundaries clear before release.
