Overview
ClynchCut is a Windows-first local video studio. Its current development workflow uses local project folders, a local ComfyUI server, local model files, and a locally configured FFmpeg executable. It does not require an Arydian Labs account.
Projects, prompts, and media
Project settings, prompts, shot information, take metadata, exact submitted workflows, thumbnails, and generated media are stored in the project folders you select. These files remain under your control unless you deliberately move or share them.
Local runtime information
ClynchCut checks local hardware, available storage, FFmpeg, ComfyUI health, installed nodes, workflow definitions, and required model files so it can explain whether a generation is ready to run. Those checks are performed for the local workflow.
Connections to local tools
The app communicates with the ComfyUI REST and WebSocket server configured on the local machine and may start a managed local ComfyUI process. It uses FFmpeg for supported image preparation, probing, thumbnails, copying, and transcoding.
Models and downloads
ClynchCut does not silently download model files. The current workflow records official model requirements so missing, partial, or incorrectly sized files can be identified before generation.
Diagnostics and support
If you choose to send a support message, include only the technical details needed to understand the problem. Do not send private prompts, generated media, model files, passwords, or credentials unless a secure support process explicitly requests them.
Your choices
You choose the project, ComfyUI, model, and FFmpeg locations. You can remove project data through your local filesystem. Removing ClynchCut does not automatically remove separately installed ComfyUI, models, or project folders.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if ClynchCut adds distribution, update, diagnostics, crash-reporting, account, or hosted-service behavior.
